Facility Description: The IHTFP facility simulates all the conditions inside a pressurized water reactor (PWR), except for the radiation. Its primary purpose is to grow CRUD (fouling deposits) at nuclear-relevant conditions, but it is also being used to explore fouling resistance in geothermal conditions.
